Parents Smoking Discolor Kids' Gums
A study conducted in 59 children has linked second hand smoke to cavities & gum diseases. Most children had at least
one parent who smoked, & they were more likely than their peers to have discoloration in spots along the gum line or
across the whole area. Since this is an effect, which can be seen by the parents, it may encourage them to quit smoking.
